- 16 July 2010

The Isle of Man Bank Board of Directors, including Chairman of Isle of Man Bank Adrian Gill and Managing Director Victoria McEneaney, each recently spent a day in six of the eleven Isle of Man Bank branches, across the Island.

As part of the Bank’s ‘Across The Floor’ initiative, Adrian Gill served customers at the Regent Street Isle of Man Bank branch with Victoria McEneaney in Port Erin, and other Directors, Steve Camm in Prospect Terrace, Alistair Bishop in Onchan, Ronald Gordon in Castletown and Paul Smith in Athol Street.

The initiative is part of the Bank’s programme to drive continuous improvement in customer service, efficiency and teamwork.

Managing Director Victoria McEneaney, who is also Island Director for RBS International, and NatWest, explained:

“People are at the heart of our business and this particular Across The Floor initiative was a fantastic opportunity to really focus on our customers and teams in the local branches. We all came away with some great new insights and ideas from the plentiful and positive feedback from both our customers and staff.”

Chairman, Adrian Gill, who is also the Chief Executive, of RBS International, commented:

“It is some years since I had the opportunity to work in one of our branches and this initiative provided a potent reminder of the excellent work that our frontline staff undertake every day. It was a very enjoyable opportunity to pitch in and liaise with customers, build strong working relationships with branch managers and understand more about each other’s working days.”
