Managing Quantity Surveyor - Qatar

Our client, a multi-national construction organisation, is the most successful Cypriot company abroad. They specialise in building contracts in the Middle East with values of between $150m and $250m, with current projects in Qatar, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain.

Job Description:

As a result of the successful acquisition of a number of new projects, a vacancy has arisen for a senior quantity surveyor in the Qatar region. Duties of this role include the following:

Preparation of monthly site valuations
Procurement of subcontract packages
Budget preparation for various sites
Ensuring that activities are planned, managed and monitored in a way that supports the project objectives and reflects best practice

Person Specification:

Applicants should have a minimum of ten years’ experience, ideally of working on large-scale projects, and should hold a construction-related degree, or equivalent. EU citizen is a must and Knowledge of the Greek language is an advantage.

The right candidate can expect a tax-free salary of approximately €100,000 plus bonuses, depending on experience, and excellent opportunities for career progression.
