AP Executive has been retained by one of our valued financial services clients in Guernsey. This dynamic and progressive trust and funds provider are in a major growth phase not just locally but in other locations. They are now looking for an associate compliance director who will share their vision and who is keen to be an integral part of the firm's future.

The successful candidate will also act as MLRO/MLCO for the company and various client entities within the fiduciary and fund administration services

The successful individual will form part of the senior management team that is collectively responsible for the delivery of the management of administration teams and client affairs of entities administered by the group. There will be considerable liaison with other jurisdictions and teams, including their fiduciary and funds business.

This requires an individual with a good understanding of the regulatory requirements stipulated within the Handbook on Countering Financial Crime and Terrorist Financing. The candidate should be self-motivated, organised, and diligent and able to take ownership of various tasks. They should be driven and able to think outside the box when it comes to servicing clients and developing operational procedures that work for the wider group. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, be approachable and able to work to multiple deadlines.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, approachable and hardworking with a positive and helpful "can do" attitude; self-motivated, organised and able to manage multiple work streams be prepared to challenge and suggest improvements to current processes and controls. A qualification such at ICA Diploma will be expected alongside demonstrable previous experience in a senior compliance position.
