A privately-owned international trust and wealth structuring business with several offices worldwide is seeking an experienced business developer to cover the Benelux region, and on a 3-5 year view, take over the management of the Belgium office based in Brussels. The firm is involved in the creation and administration of trusts for private clients and wealthy families as well as corporate structures for real estate and private equity and other business purposes.
The role will involve visiting the firm's partners in Belgium and beyond, including law firms, banks, auditors, family offices and asset managers to generate new business. A firm commitment to a two-year business plan will be required. Weekly reporting to the head office and Group CEO/CFO is envisaged. The company may also grow by acquisition and involvement in this would be a part of the role in the longer term.
The successful candidate will be ambitious and driven and above all be a good business developer. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a trust company or successful law firm or similar is desired, you will need to be a good networker with excellent existing contacts, and be willing and able to qualify as a chartered accountant. Fluency in Dutch, French and English are imperative.
