A very dynamic and highly unique hedge fund are looking to hire a business development director to drive growth in the fund and ensure continued commercial success. The business has a compelling offering, allowing investors access to products and companies with a focus on the DeFi/Crypto space. The business has a very strong and experienced senior leadership team with backgrounds in major international financial institutions, who have a pragmatic approach to risk management but ambitious growth plans.
The key to this role is to drive investment into the fund, attracting a range of international clients including institutional, private/family offices etc. You will work side-by-side with the founders and leadership team to position the fund as a market leader in their field by speaking at conferences, attending events, and being an ambassador.
It's thought that the successful candidate will have a strong and wide network of investors built over many years of business development in a similar field. You will likely have a strong interest in DeFi/Crypto and possess excellent communication skills in order to convey technical concepts to non-technical individuals. Mindset along with a proactive approach is key to being a success in this start-up.
