We are partnering with an established international insurance brokerage that is looking to strengthen its commercial insurance team in Cyprus.
This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys working closely with corporate clients, developing long-term relationships and identifying new business opportunities. The role would suit someone who combines strong technical insurance knowledge with a commercial mindset and the ability to advise senior stakeholders across different industries.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and develop relationships with commercial and corporate clients
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client accounts
- Build new business relationships within the Cyprus market
- Advise clients on appropriate insurance and risk transfer solutions
- Support placements across specialist commercial insurance lines
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to structure suitable insurance programmes
- Maintain a consultative, client-focused approach throughout the full sales and renewal cycle
- Contribute to the continued growth of the Cyprus business
We would be interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- Strong experience in commercial insurance broking, underwriting or client advisory
- Experience working with corporate, mid-market or specialist commercial clients
- Good knowledge of financial lines, liability, cyber, professional indemnity, D&O or wider commercial insurance products
- A strong network or existing relationships within the Cyprus business community
- Proven ability to develop new business and retain client relationships
- Confidence advising senior decision makers
- A consultative and entrepreneurial approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
The role is based in Cyprus and is intended for candidates who are already living locally and hold a Cyprus or EU passport.
