An award winning offshore law firm with multiple practice areas and several offices worldwide, seeks an experienced and ambitious business developer to raise its profile and grow its business from its London office. The firm has high staff retention and a reputation for looking after its employees.
The role entails arranging meetings with intermediaries and clients, developing new relationships and expanding on existing relationships, targeting industry events and conferences to attend in order to network, accurately tracking and reporting key metrics to assess effectiveness of business development actions, and researching the competitive landscape. The position will report to the group head of business development.
The successful candidate will be university educated and have five years plus of business development experience, ideally in a legal or fiduciary firm, a solid understanding of the legal market and legal services, excellent research, analysis and writing skills, digital marketing experience, and excellent Microsoft office skills. Personally, you will be commercially minded, client focused and self-motivated.
The base salary offered is dependent on experience and skills and is in the range of £65,000 - £80,000 and there will be a discretionary, performance based bonus, plus the usual benefits.
