Working for a regulatory legal company in Guernsey we are looking for an in house counsel with specialism in competition law. Competition legal work will be the primary focus of this role and you will be expected to be able to advise on all areas of competition law across both Guernsey and Jersey to include cartel investigations, antitrust litigation, restrictive agreements, dominance issues and merger control.
Main responsibilities include undertaking assessments of mergers and acquisitions. You will support a leadership team on larger legal matters and cases.
To be eligible for this role you are required to be an Advocate of the Royal Court in the Channel Islands / Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland or equivalent from a Commonwealth jurisdiction. Professional membership of the Law Society of England and Wales or an equivalent body.
