The company provides high quality services to private wealth, corporate and funds clients. Today it is looking to hire a compliance officer to enhance its team in the BVI office
The role is dealing with compliance reviews for new clients and new business. Perform screening and provide compliance advice and reviews risk ratings. Deal with background checks including transaction monitoring, adverse media checks, fiscal integrity, and ESG checks.
Other responsibilities will include review of files for incorporation for BVI companies and for other jurisdictions. Assist the group with compliance projects.
The successful candidate will have preferably an LLM degree and must be FCA approved. Be proficient in English written and spoken. Spanish would be a plus. Have at least 3 to 5 years experience working with compliance regulations preferably in the corporate services industry.
