On behalf of a rapidly growing general insurance company in the Channel Islands we are seeking a motivated compliance professional. This role can be based in either Island and will mean frequent travel between the two main Islands
This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to pursue a career in compliance but do not wish to be exposed to a high level of stress normally associated with a key person status. The role will involve supporting and forming compliance and risk strategy for a small compliance department in a medium-sized company.
The company provides insurance services to predominantly low risk individuals and businesses in the CI. The right candidate will have a proactive approach with good knowledge of risk management A good understanding of the GFSC and JFSC regulatory framework will be desirable and expected in the future. Applicants will have a high commitment to process improvement, ability to influence at all levels, plus interest and understanding of the importance of the role. The post-holder will also become the MLRO and MLCO.
A professional qualification such as ICA or similar will be expected. Experience in an insurance or fiduciary environment will be desirable
