A rare opportunity has arisen within an ambitious and rapidly expanding Trust Company for a Financial Controller Senior Manager to join the team.

The role holder will be expected to undertake monthly reporting tasks, subject matter expert for designated key technical accounting issues, assist in the audit and statutory reporting process, technical accounting, adherence to global IFRS standards, supporting the team with reporting the commercial performance of the business, support internal audit with performance monitoring and procedures, work closely with the Finance Operations team including review and oversight of reconciliations, purchase ledger, receivables.

The successful candidate will be a ACA/ACCA qualified with 5 years' PQE, knowledge of MS Office, Navision / Business central, IFRS and UK GAAP. Experience in delivering financial change and systems implementations. A drive for innovation, continuous improvement and working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present both qualitatively and quantitatively, function effectively when under pressure and prioritisation to meet deadlines.

You will be an experienced team player who is able to work cohesively with your colleagues to deliver excellent results. Assertive, decisive, approachable, with the ability to make decisions within authority and assigned responsibilities. Demonstrate problem solving ability and work to a high degree of accuracy.

It is desired that the candidate will have experience of the trust and corporate services industry with experience in preparing a business for IPO. Preparation on consolidated management information for a financial institution.
