An international Bank is looking for a Financial Regulatory Reporting Officer (fluent German) to join its high performing team in Zurich. The purpose of this position is to ensure that all financial regulatory reports are produced in a timely and high-quality manner. The successful candidate will partner with colleagues from across the business, both producing reports and also implementing any new standards/processes etc. from the reports. The position is highly project focused across short, medium, and long terms, and a large focus will be the further development and evolution of the group reporting system. Whilst the successful applicant will have strong knowledge in this field, they will also work with subject matter experts from across the business (for example the Treasury department) to fully understand all aspects of the group and the challenges they face.
To be considered for this position applicants must have a strong academic background (with a focus on finance, business, banking or similar), and strong knowledge of the financial reporting requirements within the financial services industry (either from a Consulting/Big-4 background, or another bank). Any professional qualifications are a benefit but are by no means a must, e.g. CPA/CA/ACCA etc. First-class interpersonal and communication skills are required in both German and English, alongside attention to detail and high-quality project management skills.
