On behalf of a small but growing fund administration company we are seeking to fill the role of head of risk and compliance. Applicants will be expected to provide knowledgeable , robust and specific guidance to ensure all aspects of AML/CFT obligations are met. To ensure that the clients varied funds and investment structures are administered in a professional manner with best corporate governance.
The role-holder will take control of the operations of the compliance team and will build relationships with third-party stakeholders and colleagues across the group network. It will mean being part of the senior management team and will sit on the operations committee.
Main duties will include developing and leading the risk and compliance team, reporting to client boards, taking responsibility for regulatory reporting, managing governance reviews and being the main point of contact to the Regulator. An up-to-date knowledge of the current regulatory reporting requirements will be essential.
Candidates should have had a minimum of 8 years finance industry experience, preferably with a focus on funds and investments. An existing or previous post-holder with the GFSC in a prescribed position or as a manager. A professional qualification in compliance/corporate governance/company secretarial will be essential with good PQ experience in a senior role. IT skills such as in Virtual Boardroom, eDocs, Cezanne, 4-Series will be expected in this modern forward-looking company with cutting edge technology in place to complement the professional workforce.
