A well known bank is seeking to appoint a client on-boarding specialist for their Guernsey operation. This will support the international wealth management client business booked on the Guernsey platform and drive the end-to-end client on-boarding process.
Responsibilities will include client structure reviews, name screening and discounting while applying requirements established by local and global regulators. You will also act as subject matter expert on key on-boarding topics, including KFC and AML. Additionally, you will have an opportunity to initiate and drive internal process improvements.
We are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience in AML / CTF and KYC, and a detailed working knowledge of the Guernsey Financial Services "Handbook on Countering Financial Crime and Terrorist Financing" You will have private banking background and experience, front-to-back banking process knowledge, great communication skills, and be an excellent problem-solver, being able to use good judgement and deliver on time with a high level of attention to detail and quality standards.
