Are you an ambitious Compliance Officer or Assistant Manager ready to take your career to the next level? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an international private bank based in Jersey, conducting comprehensive investment-led wealth management for an international client base, including both private client and fiduciary services.
Within this role you will review and test the operational output and procedures to identify any non-compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations and to implement corrective actions to address process and control deficiencies. This risk assurance role requires to complete risk controls which evidences we are managing and challenging the 1A teams.
Amongst other things, you will manage implementation of the Fiduciary controls programme. Timely monitoring and testing of the controls in place. The completion of “thematic based” reviews and testing based on generic & systemic risk points using a mixture of random sample testing and control/monitoring analysis from NavOne. Identifying risk issues for clients including potential litigation, claim, financial loss, reputational damage, tax issues or complaints against the Group.
To be considered for this important role candidates should have gained at least 5+ years’ experience in a relevant position with exposure to at least one or more of the following sectors: Private Banking, Trust, Wealth Management and Funds. A recognised AML/Compliance qualification is desired.
