Our client has rapidly established itself as a progressive employer of choice and are currently looking to recruit a Senior Financial Account Manager on their Shared Services, Central Accounts team who will work closely with colleagues locally and in India to fulfil the accounting requirements across the Corporate and Trust service lines, however, with a primary responsibility for Capital Markets for you to support.
The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge of IFRS & UK GAAP & being able to perform Technical reviews of accounting deliverables prepared by the FAMs. Ensuring that all audit liaison work by the team are planned in advance and that the audit process is managed efficiently and effectively. Acting as principle point of contact for clients on accounting service matters. Performing regular updates and meetings with the administration and management teams on important aspects client service delivery.
To be considered for this role candidates should be ACCA/ACA/CPA qualified with a strong academic background & at least 5-8 years PQE. They should be computer literate, with a solid financial services background. Previous supervisory/management experience and prior responsibility for managing relationships from a client accounting perspective will also be looked upon favourably. You will be committed and driven to achieving excellence for you, the team and the clients. You will be dynamic, proactive and forward thinking with strong communication and organisation skills.
