A Swiss independently owned trust company in Geneva are looking to recruit a trust accountant with a minimum of 5 years accounting experience. Dealing with offshore companies you must have a deep understanding of Swiss financial regulations. French is your mother tongue or your level is proficient with fluent English written and spoken.
You will have completed or are currently studying for a professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA or the Federal Diploma in Accounting. Have excellent accounting principles and strong analytical skills.
Working independently with a limited amount of supervision, you will be providing accurate client accounting and preparation of trust accounting work. There will be occasional client and third-party service provider contact.
Principal responsibilities will include preparing and finalising financial reports from standard to complex trusts and fiduciary structures. Updating bookkeeping and maintaining timely books of accounts. Involvement in mandate-specific transactions and regular communication with bankers, lawyers, accountants, agents and consultants in close coordination with the trust officers.
