An exciting opportunity for a trust accountant to join a specialist private client tax practice providing accountancy services to offshore trusts, onshore and offshore companies and structures. The role will involve some international travel and it is envisaged, will grow into a managerial role.
Key responsibilities include the recording of financial transactions for both onshore and offshore entities, the preparation of accounts for trust, and companies, preparing tax returns, providing periodic financial reports to clients and liaising with trustees and advisors on financial transactions.
The successful candidate will have a combination of strong accounting skills and knowledge of trusts. An accountancy qualification is required and STEP would be desirable. Considerable experience of trust accounting and taxation is needed. This is a client facing role; good communication skills both written and verbal will be necessary.
