An exceptional opportunity for an experienced trust practitioner within the trust department of an independent international private bank in the wonderful location of Barbados. The role will involve Overseeing the administration of trusts with familiarity of the Trust Deed and Trustees' powers and responsibilities, and ensuring compliance with the laws of Barbados and other relevant jurisdictions. Task include reviewing draft trust and corporate documentation, reviewing distribution and investments requests, maintaining database accuracy, and undertaking annual reviews of trusts and companies. The position will report to the trust manager.
The successful candidate will have 3-5 years' experience working with offshore trusts, will have a legal or accounting designation and a further professional qualification such as STEP or ICSA would be beneficial. The ability to work independently with limited supervision is a must and discretion is required at all times. Compensation is competitive and there is preferential tax treatment for expatriates in accordance with the Barbados taxation rules.
