A multi-national professional services firm of high standing and repute is looking to recruit a trust officer to join its Cayman Islands office, which is fully licensed to provide a full range of trust and corporate services. The role entails responsibility for an existing portfolio of clients, consisting of trusts, companies and complex private client structures. These entities will require administration and there will be liaison with clients, their advisors and family offices which will demand excellent communication skills both oral and written. The work can be demanding, and working to tight deadlines may require overtime. This particular role a good understanding of financial statements and will require either an accountancy qualification or an undergraduate degree in accountancy or finance.
The successful candidate must have a minimum 3 years' experience in the trust industry and a professional qualification such as STEP, ICSA, ACCA, CPA or CA. Candidates who have more experience and are studying toward a professional qualification will also be considered. The salary offered is USD 65,000 - USD 95,000 depending on qualifications and experience and benefits include pension, health and life insurance.
