A legal and fiduciary services firm based in the Principality of Monaco is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable accountant. The role will report to the partners of the firm, and will entail making book entries for trusts, corporate entities, and other structures, and preparing accounts for these structures. There is a junior accountant to assist with the work. The ideal candidate will have solid experience of accounting, especially in investments and trading, and will be a part qualified accountant or hold a relevant professional qualification. An ability to schedule and plan work is essential so that deadlines are met and bottle-necks are avoided. Comfort in dealing with colleagues and being assertive in gathering the required data will be needed, together with an ability to communicate with clients and their advisors. Any knowledge of French accounting standards would be a benefit. Candidates must have excellent written and spoken English; French would be an advantage. Flexible working is available with a minimum of 3 days a week in the office. Compensation will be competitive. Candidates must hold an EU passport.
