We are seeking a CEO to set up and manage a new first generation single family office (SFO) for a well established UHNW entrepreneur to be based in Central London. The position will report directly to the principal. The CEO/CFO is the first hire and will be responsible for the daily operational control and engaged in all aspects of the SFO. The role will entail establishing and structuring the SFO and its procedures and will require the CEO/CFO to work independently. The successful candidate will be dynamic and flexible with the aptitude and ability to handle both mundane tasks and as well as highly sophisticated complex tasks. It is envisaged that a small team will be assembled and managed by the CEO/CFO and that there will be active management of external specialists, such as Accountants, Trust Practitioners, Investment Specialists and Fund Administrators.
Requirements include an MBA or comparable master's degree, professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, CFP, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent and a strong accounting, financial or legal background, with broad experience in tax, estate or financial planning. We are looking for a highly structured, result driven, expert generalist. In addition, excellent knowledge of IT systems and processes, databases, and familiarity with SFO-specific software is required. Prior SFO experience is highly desirable.
