A prestigious law firm is seeking a England and Wales qualified lawyer to join its charities and philanthropy team at associate level. The will involve advising major charities on a range of regulatory, governance, commercial and corporate matters and will also advise UHNWI clients and corporate clients on philanthropic giving. Responsibilities will include setting up charitable foundations, and advising on collaborations and funding agreements. The position sits within the tax trust and succession team which is renowned for its expertise throughout the profession. The firm has an impressive blue-chip client base.
The successful candidate will have at least 4 years' PQE and be able to work with limited supervision, and handle cases from start to finish. Different backgrounds will be considered but strong knowledge of charities is essential, especially the regulation of charities. Compensation is excellent and the position can be hybrid with three days in the office in London.
