Our client, one of the most respected local providers of corporate & fund services, is seeking a Client Director in its Private Equity Accounting team.
The role holder will be responsible for managing the relationship between the Group and a number of high-profile PE clients. This is a management role within the funds services team and this is an opportunity to lead a client facing accounting team.
To be considered or this role, applicants will require ten years' experience in a similar role during which time you will have acquired a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or similar. In addition, it is expected that the successful candidate will have a broad understanding of the wide range of fiduciary products that the Group offers. You will have strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP and LUX GAAP. Strong knowledge of Channel Islands Regulatory environment relating to Alternative Investment Funds.
The successful candidate will have team leadership skills. You will have good interpersonal skills and an effective communicator. Be accessible and approachable to all team members, offering guidance where required. You will have the ability to understand, inspire and develop others. Ability to formulate, consider and select the most appropriate solutions. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Please note that five years' residency in Jersey will be required for this role.
