An award winning international law firm with a global footprint is seeking an onboarding manager to be based in its City of London offices. The role will principally involve verifying the client in an efficient and timely manner as per the firm's legal obligation. This will entail making an analysis of prospective clients to determine beneficial ownership, responsible managing officers, or trust, and establishing all levels of control, and identity verification of individuals. There will be scope to improve and develop the firm's processes in this area to increase both efficiency and effectiveness. It will also involve dealing with Companies House, third party advisors and reporting any risks to partners and compliance management.
The successful candidate should have a compliance qualification and experience in a similar role, along with knowledge of the legislation governing the onboarding and verification of clients. Strong IT skills are also required.
