A major international trading company is seeking an experienced commodities lawyer to head up its commodities legal function. The position will be based in Switzerland but a common law legal qualification is a requirement. The role will entail running every aspect of legal services that relate to commodities and will report to the firm's head of legal services.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 years' PQE with a major part of that experience being in commodities either in a trading firm or a fund that specialises in commodities, and will have led contract negotiations. Excellent written and spoken English is necessary and other languages would be a benefit.
