Our client is a successful trust company with a diverse working culture across offices in Guernsey, Switzerland, London, America and Asia. They are looking for a compliance officer to support compliance/AML/risk services as well as provide a broader support within the company's functions and departments.
Working closely with the Compliance Director, the main responsibilities are to act as the principal point of contact with the GFSC, Guernsey Financial Intelligence Service. This role will also provide support dealing with other jurisdictional regulatory authorities in which its other offices are based. Identify relevant proposed regulatory changes and work with the compliance director to prepare for its impact. Other responsibilities include providing advice and training to staff members, maintain the register for compliants are handled and resolved appropriately.
