Our client provides legal services for the corporate and financial sectors principally in the areas of banking and finance, corporate, investment funds, dispute resolution, private equity and private wealth around the globe.
They are looking to hire a director for its London office ,the purpose of which is to lead and implement their UK strategy in close partnership with global service line heads and the executive committee.
The successful candidate will develop and implement the UK launch strategy, drive business development activity across all UK product offerings, act as jurisdictional head and provide strong leadership to a growing team of professionals. Be required to launch a recruitment plan working with key shareholders across the group, agree and deliver on annual revenue and expense budgets. Also provide strong leadership and management to a UK based team and support the identification and implementation of technology to underpin delivery of the high standards of the company. Develop content for relevant policies and procedures and wider knowledge management utilising the existing infrastructure.
The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of UK corporate services and if possible a particular specialism in either debt, capital markets, real estate or funds. A proven track record in the role of a jurisdictional or service line leads. Prior experience acting as a director of both in-house and client entities and experience with leading and implementing significant strategic projects.
