Our client is a fintech platform which advocates for Responsible GenAI by providing guidance on Generative AI Safety Procedures to corporations, governments, foundations and inter-governmental organisations. For a newly established INGO based in Geneva, on its behalf we are recruiting for a treasurer.
The treasurer role is responsible for ensuring financial stability, transparency, and compliance with financial regulations. Main duties will be financial planning, budgeting, management and reporting. Ensuring compliance with financial regulators, tax laws, and reporting requirements specific to Switzerland. You will also be responsible for filing tax returns, maintaining financial records, and providing necessary documentation for auditing purposes. Assist to develop fundraising strategies with the President and Executive Director, monitor fundraising activities, and track the utilisation of funds.
For this role you must be a qualified accountant with Swiss GAAP. Fluent French and/or German and English written and spoken is a necessity. A minimum of 8 years working in a similar role.
