A new international blockchain company has recently established its presence in Gibraltar. On its behalf we are looking for an experienced financial director. This is an exciting time to be joining as our client have plans to open further offices across Europe and Gibraltar will be where its head office is based. In this role you will be in charge of the entire activities of the financial services of our client. The successful candidate will manage the financial reporting, including managing budgets and cost allocations on-site and for offshore operations and overseeing payments to suppliers. In addition, you will liaise with the leadership and assist in the preparation of materials for regular leadership meetings.
To be suitable for this role you must have gained a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar senior finance position. Hold a professional degree in business finance and be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or similar. Virtual asset experience is desirable. A good knowledge with the Gibraltar Distributed Ledger Technology Regulatory (DLT) Framework is advantageous. Good relations with the GFSC, FCA and other regulatory bodies.
