Our client is an established family office and wealth management firm with a strong presence across Australia and Asia, supporting high-net-worth individuals with cross-border structuring, investment, and fiduciary services. As part of its expansion in Singapore, the firm has acquired a licensed trust company and is seeking to appoint a Singapore-based Resident Manager to meet Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulatory requirements. This role is primarily a compliance-driven, formal appointment rather than an operational position, with the Singapore entity currently at an early stage of activity. There is no expectation of day-to-day involvement, office presence, or active management responsibilities, making this particularly suited to someone already working within the trust or fiduciary industry who is open to taking on a part-time or additional appointment. The Resident Manager will act as the locally appointed representative for the licensed entity, ensuring ongoing adherence to MAS requirements and providing guidance on regulatory matters where required. Candidates should be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents with experience in a trust company, fiduciary services firm, or similar environment, along with a working understanding of the MAS regulatory framework. Prior experience as a Resident Manager is not essential, but candidates should be of sufficient seniority and credibility to meet regulatory expectations.
