A well-established international provider of trust, corporate and fund services, supporting UHNWI, families and business across multiple jurisdiction is seeking for a senior client relationship manager for its Mauritius office.  This new role is to serve as a dedicated relationship lead acting as their trusted advisor and first point of contact for a valued UHNW South African client, . The successful applicant will oversee and coordinate all work delivered by the internal team, ensuring a consistently high level of service and client satisfaction. Importantly, as senior manager you will also be hands-on and directly involved in the execution of client's work when necessary, especially in complex or time-sensitive matters. To be eligible for this role you will ideally possess a professional accountancy qualification ie ACA/ACCA or CPA qualified or part qualified. Be smart, accountable, proactive, and responsive, with strong technical skills, excellent client relationship management capabilities, and proven leadership experience. ICSA and / or  STEP qualifications are highly desirable but not essential.

A minimum 10 years' experience in the trust, global business space or financial services industry gained in South Africa, and with at least 5 years experience in a leadership role. It is important you can demonstrate success in managing large and complex client portfolios across multiple jurisdictions. Sound technical knowledge with regards to statutory requirements for global business companies, domestic companies, BVI companies and trusts.

The desired profile has client-first mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and offer proactive solutions. Strong technical knowledge in corporate, trust, and fund structures across various jurisdictions. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to build rapport with UHNW individuals, family offices, and intermediaries. Possess a high level of integrity, accountability, and discretion in handling confidential matters. Is an agile thinker – capable of working under pressure and solving problems with a commercial lens. Has strong leadership and team management capabilities and  is fluent in English (written and spoken).

While the role is ideally based in Mauritius, exceptional candidates residing in South Africa may be considered for a remote working arrangement.  Relocation costs will be financially supported by our client.
