A prestigious international trust group is seeking a senior compliance manager to join the team in its office in Nassau, Bahamas. The role entails acting as liaison with regulatory bodies locally, and ensuring the firms compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and the firm’s internal policies. Responsibilities include maintain the compliance framework including AML and CTF policies, conducting risk assessments and ensuing all KYC and appropriate due diligence during client onboarding. Keeping current with changes in the law and applicable regulations is expected.
The successful candidate will have 5-7 years’ experience in a compliance role in financial services or the trust industry. Professional compliance qualifications together with a strong understanding of the local Bahamian regulations are required. The role is only open to those with a valid work permit for Bahamas.
