A global provider of institutional and private client services across multiple jurisdictions is looking to hire a senior compliance officer for its well established office in the BVI. Our client offers international incorporation and administration services, as well as a wide variety of professional services to clients around the world.
The successful candidate will join a team of qualified experts who have a comprehensive understanding of the different tax rules and regulatory reporting regimes.
As compliance officer and money-laundering reporting officer, you will report to the directors. The role has responsibility for maintaining and developing the group's policies, contractual and other standard documents and administrative practices. Including periodic reviews of clients' structures. You will also be responsible for regulatory reporting and handling of matters arising with BVI regulators.The successful applicant will be a skilled communicator, able to interact effectively with clients, the board of directors, regulators and colleagues. Qualifications and experience must be of a level to facilitate BVI FSC approval for the appointment. Preferably, you will be a current member of the BVI Association of Compliance Officers. Your experience will likely include at least three years in a compliance position in an organisation providing fiduciary services.
