A boutique international wealth specialist is looking to hire a new Accounting Manager for their high performing and tight-knit team based in the City of London. The business has a global presence with several offices across the world, and provides a wide variety of services to High/Ultra High Net Worth individuals who require specialist and high-end solutions.
In this dynamic and wide-ranging role, you will work play a leading role in the full range of accounting for c150 international entities, co-ordinating with client managers and other back office staff to ensure that all work is completed in a timely an accurate manner. A truly unique element of this position is the close working relationship you will enjoy with a highly capable and experienced CFO and the international exposure you will gain.
The two main elements of the role are detailed as below;
Client Accounting
-Managing all deadlines and ensuring that none are missed (VAT, Tax Returns, Accounts Filing)
-Coordinating with external auditors and regulated bodies
-All corporate tax returns- maintaining and managing tracking system, the corporate tax work is currently outsourced.
-Client VAT Filings
-Reviewing client accounts prepared by back-office team, and ensuring that they are prepared and compliant with the company structure and legal agreements and opinions
-Assisting with training and development of the Client Accounting Department in India
Deputy CFO
- Assisting with timesheet reporting and monitoring and support of the client accounting team including debt collection, chargeability of jobs, allocation of administrative tasks to increase profitability;
- Opening of internal bank accounts and compliance aspects with banks and suppliers
- Supplier relationships auditors and accountants in locations like Hong Kong, Singapore etc, pricing and communication as well as supplier integrity and quality control
- Budget tracking on accounting revenue across the group and intercompany balances
- Manage all internal deadlines across the group and ensure none are missed together with the CAD and Co Sec team
- Investment Funds
- Monthly Creditors Run
The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting/VAT skills from an international environment. You will have up to date knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS etc.) and a strong eye for detail. In this dynamic role first-rate interpersonal skills are a must, both verbal and written, and you will have a high level of cultural empathy and be dealing with colleagues from across the world on a daily basis.
