A fast growing and highly entrepreneurial Fintech business is looking to hire a Chief Operating Officer to ensure the smooth overall running of the business and the continued commercial success. The business is well funded and has a unique and compelling business proposition, and has a wide and varied client base with plentiful scope to grow and develop further. The business has a strong 'start-up' culture, and has ambitious yet attainable growth targets in the coming years.
In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for all elements of the day to day running of the business. You will have a number of direct reports from across the whole spectrum of roles, including commercial, HR, finance, and many more. You will ensure smooth and efficient processes are a standard across the board, and you will implement all relevant KPIs/SLAs etc to each department. You will also be working closely on a wider strategy with the rest of the leadership team, identifying new commercial opportunities and playing a key role in the development and close of these.
The business is looking to speak with experienced COO's from a relevant, high growth tech sector (e.g. Fintech, SaaS etc.) with a strong track record of success. You will have an eye for detail and enjoy the cut and thrust of working in a cutting edge and high growth environment. You will have excellent people-management and leadership skills, with first-rate communication (both verbal and written).
There is a highly competitive package on offer which is negotiable for the right candidate, and the position will be based in York.
