Our client is a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company that helps clients around the world turn risk into a path for growth. On their behalf we are looking for an accounting director to be based in their operation in Guernsey.
Applications are sought from qualified accountants such as ACCA,/CAT/ AAT/ACA . A number of years working in an accounting position within in the financial services industry will be expected.
Experience of working in the captive insurance industry will be advantageous working on (re) insurance accounting preparation. A knowledge of the Guernsey regulatory environment will be required.
Candidates will be working within a close-knit team so should be total team players with excellent communication skills and be able to contribute to a positive working environment. As part of this team you will be expected to be participate in business development and attend client meetings with the need to present appropriate material at such events. There will naturally be a need to liaise with clients and colleagues out of the office on occasions representing the Company.
