The compliance officer will have responsibility for all AML / CFT, compliance, risk, and governance matters in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar.
The compliance officer will have responsibility for all AML / CFT, compliance, risk, and governance matters in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar. The compliance manager will be responsible for supporting all offices to meet the group's expectations and regulatory standards.
As well as leading local specifics required under the compliance regulations and driven by local business needs, the compliance manager will be required to provide advice and guidance to Directors and staff of the business to ensure that policies and procedures are thoroughly understood and followed.
Your responsibilities will cover promoting and enhancing the compliance, risk and governance corporate culture, maintain the relationship with the suppliers of compliance / MLRO services. Advise the Boards and management on AML / CFT, compliance and risk management issues. Escalating any specific items that require special attention to the Managing Director, Governance Leader and / or Group Chief Compliance Officer.
The successful candidate will be DFSA approved and must have experience in advising clients in the DIFC / DFSA as well as have strong compliance, risk or governance focus. With knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements. You will also be experienced in liaising directly with the DIFC and ADGM on company secretarial and incorporation matters.
