Our client is a leading offshore law firm with a growing global presence. On their behalf we are seeking a data protection manager. This hybrid role can be based in the Channel Islands or London.
The successful applicant will be an integral part of the team ensuring the company’s compliance with data protection laws and regulations in the relevant jurisdiction. As manager there will be potential for the right applicant to progress swiftly to become the group head of data protection
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Law, IT or a related field. A master’s degree or professional qualification such as CIPP/E, CIPM will be desirable. Demonstrable experience in a data protection, privacy or IT security setting role of at least five years will be required.
Candidates should have deep knowledge of relevant laws and practices including GDPR and CCPA. Have strong understanding of IT and data management systems.
