Our client is a privately owned Guernsey head-quartered leading provider of fund administration, private client and corporate services. They also operate in a growing number of major offshore jurisdictions. On their behalf we are looking to fill the role of group company secretary.
The role-holder will be responsible for the governance framework and company secretarial affairs of all the group’s operations in multiple jurisdictions.
This is an important senior appointment with board level responsibilities. It will involve working with the group’s head of risk and compliance providing advice to the board on all relevant regulations, corporate best practice and fiduciary duties. Applicants without previous “A” signatory experience will be considered as part of the corporate governance team at a lower level.
Candidates should have a minimum of seven years experience in a relevant role within the financial services industry, preferably while working in Guernsey or another offshore jurisdiction. A professional qualification such as ICSA or CGI will be expected.
Applicants should be based in Guernsey but the client will consider approaches from candidates working in any of their other jurisdictions.
