Our client, a leading Insurance business, is seeking a Insurance Manager to join its busy Guernsey team. To assume responsibility for the day to day insurance servicing of a portfolio of captive clients, ensuring that office and client business strategies are aligned, utilising a strong customer service focus.
The key duties will include but not limited to ensuring all client deadlines in respect of insurance servicing issues are met at all times, insurance matters are kept documented and prepped for Board meetings, compliance of regulatory and legislative requirements. Responsible for development of sound business relations for various parties both in house and with clients. Act as a resource for the Company in whatever capacity necessary in order to ensure consistency, and the achievement of budgetary objectives. Also, to actively develop and ensure training needs are met for all staff reporting to the Manager.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of five years general insurance experience and have a strong technical knowledge of the insurance and reinsurance industry. Those holding a relevant qualification such as an ACII will be looked upon favourably.
