Our client is a fast growing company offering services in trust, private clients, corporate services and fund administration. On their behalf we are looking for an experienced legal practitioner to become a client director for their fiduciary clients.
Duties will include offering in-house counsel on all trust matters, estate planning and complex succession issues. Act as client director for defined portfolio of clients. Be involved in business development and be the lead in writing and developing proposals, marketing leads and front delegations to important conferences and events.
Candidates will be expected to be qualified solicitor with 10 years PQE, preferably having worked in private client and trust law issues. A good knowledge of English and Guernsey trust laws will be expected.
This is a senior position within the company so excellent proven leadership skills will be essential. You will be expected to deliver in-house training on all technical trust matters and be the mentor for more junior members of staff.
An excellent package awaits the successful applicant. If all aspects of the role criteria can be met a licence to live and work in Guernsey could be available.
