AP Executive have been exclusively retained on behalf of a shareholder company of a large funds business in Zurich to recruit a senior legal counsel.
The role based in Zurich, will suit a practising Swiss qualified lawyer or a professionally qualified Swiss Funds lawyer with a minimum of 7 years legal experience. Fluent English and native Swiss German / German is essential for this job.
The main duties will be to provide advice to management for all legal activities. Oversee relationships with external legal counsels, and Swiss governing bodies ie FINMA and SIX and any other regulatory authorities. You must have had direct experience dealing with FINMA and SIX during the course of your career.
Prepare regulatory filings and notifications to Swiss authorities and keep corporate records current including all corporate governance.
Manage legal tasks in connection will all AGM's and EGM's and support the deployment of equity or debt financial instruments. The successful applicant must be able to deal with complex M&A projects and activities and already have good working experience in this area.
