Our commercial client is a well-known and respected brand across all the crown dependencies. On their behalf we are looking to fill the position of finance manager. Ideally the role will be based in Guernsey but candidates based in Jersey and Isle of Man will also be considered
The successful candidate will be responsible for commercial and financial reporting within the offshore group. You will provide accurate, consistent and timely reports and budgeted forecasts with clear and coherent plans. You will support the retail and consumer teams enabling them to reach financial targets and aspirations.
Adherence to corporate governance and accounting standards must be ensured. A good understanding of the local regulatory environment and data protection law will be expected.
Applicants should hold a professional accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA and have demonstrable and lengthy experience within a commercial environment
Experience working with VBA, SQL and a variety of accounting practices will be desirable. Experience working within the technology and/or telecommunications sector will be an advantage
