Our client is an independently owned trust company with a growing presence in the Channel Islands through strong organic growth backed by an impressive financial performance. Due to internal restructuring they are looking for a trust manager to look after a small team in their Guernsey office.
Applicants should have had strong demonstrable experience of dealing with the needs of UHNW clients, especially in the forming of, and administration of, sometimes complex offshore trust structures. A good exposure to the South African market would be desirable. Also, an understanding of trade finance and loan syndications would be an advantage but not essential
The role-holder will be working closely with the managing director. Supervising and managing a team with a designated client portfolio. Travel to meet clients and intermediaries will be required from time to time
A professional qualification such as STEP or ICSA will be expected.
